That Man Is You! is a Catholic men's leadership program that combines scripture, church teaching, and secular research to address the pressures facing men in our modern culture. This is a group that seeks to transform their homes and society one man at a time.

In remembrance of the lives lost in the September 11, 2001 attacks, Christ the King will offer Eucharistic Adoration as a time of prayer, reflection, and remembrance. Please join us this Friday, September 11, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the church as we come before the Blessed Sacrament to pray for those who lost their lives, their families and loved ones, and all those affected by the events of that day.

Many of our adults thirst for knowledge of the faith. Knowing this, we have been offering Theology 101 on Sunday evenings at the parish during the school year. These sessions run concurrently with our Grades 1-6 Faith Formation. They’re open to all adults, whether you haven’t received any sort of formation since you were a child yourself or if you’re a theology junkie!

A parish-wide holy hour with the St. John Paul II monstrance will be held at Christ the King for the intentions of Vocations on Friday, June 19th, from 4:00pm - 5:00pm. Fr. Alex will lead the holy hour and give a short reflection. This monstrance is one of six special monstrances blessed by Pope St. John Paul II in 2004 during the Year of the Eucharist. What is Vacation Bible School?
The kids will be guided on the ultimate Rainforest Falls adventure overflowing with wild waterfalls, towering trees and colorful creatures. Beneath a canopy of chattering birds and howling monkeys, kids plunge into a life-long adventure, discovering the nature of God, and exploring what it means to be rooted in relationship with their creator, a safe place in life’s storms!
The children have an opportunity to experience the joy of community among their peers while exploring their faith through song and dance, indoor and outdoor activities, and of course, enjoy a little snack with their friends.
What is FAST?
FAST stands for Faith and Service Tour. Each day we start off with a Bible/Catholic Tradition Sound Bite and then go on a different community service field trip via school bus service. Some of the agencies we will visit: St. Joseph's Residence, St. Vincent de Paul, Catholic Charities, Brother Bill's and North Texas Food Bank where we will do a service project.
Adult & High School volunteers are needed to assist both programs and truly make it “the week you don’t want to miss”.
Volunteer Requirements
· Adult Volunteers:
Adult Volunteers must be 18 or older to serve. Doing so guarantees their children will have a spot in the programs. (Grandparents are welcome to volunteer, as well!) All adult volunteers must complete the Safe Environment requirements of the parish. After you register, you will be contacted if you have items to complete to be cleared. Please be diligent in completing your items as quickly as possible.
· Youth Volunteers:
High School youth volunteers must have completed the Youth Family of Faith training. A training will be scheduled in early May (keep an eye out for the date). To register for the training or to check whether or not you need to complete the training, please contact Josh Berkovsky at jberkovsky@ctkdallas.org
· All VBS Volunteers:
· All VBS & CTK FAST adult & High School Volunteers are asked to attend an orientation and training. At this time, you will receive more specific instruction on your volunteer role, the schedule for the week, and pick up your t-shirts.

o Adults: June 4, 7-8pm in the Youth Room
Notes for Younger Children:
If your child is NOT 4 years old as of January 1st, 2026, a parent volunteer MUST be present on-site every day that the child is in attendance. All children who are participating in VBS must be potty-trained.
If your child turned 4 before January 1st, 2026, he or she can participate WITHOUT a parent volunteer on-site.

Theme: This year, our 4-part Parenting Talk Series is on Theology of the Body. These talks will help you understand how to teach Theology of the Body related topics to your children, based on their age.
Speaker: We are thrilled to host Monica Ashour as our Speaker. Monica is the founder and President of TOBET, a prophetic organization dedicated to promoting God’s design for the human person through our bodies. TOBET is a fantastic resource that is right in our backyard (Irving!).
