Who We Are
The St. Anne's Society is a fellowship and social organization for young women and mothers at Christ the King Church. As the fastest-growing ministry in our parish, we are inspired by our patron, Saint Anne—a woman of deep faith who waited many years for a child, ultimately becoming the mother of Mary and the grandmother of Jesus Christ. Saint Anne is honored as the patron saint of mothers, children, homemakers, and women longing for children. Her legacy of patience, strength, and devotion guides our mission.
At the heart of our ministry is a commitment to fostering genuine friendships, deepening our faith, supporting our parish community, and lifting one another up in prayer. Through monthly gatherings and shared experiences, we strive to be a source of spiritual nourishment and joyful connection for the young women of Christ the King.
WHO WE SUPPORT
THE BELLA HOUSE • St. Anne’s Society is proud to support The Bella House, a faith-based residence that provides a safe, nurturing home for mothers experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. Inspired by our patron St. Anne, we feel a special connection to Bella House’s mission of honoring motherhood with dignity, compassion, and faith.
Throughout the year, our members dedicate time and resources to support the women and children they serve—raising funds, volunteering, and collecting essential items for the babies and mothers. Together, we aim to walk alongside these mothers as they prepare for motherhood, grow in faith, and work toward independence.
CHILDREN’S FAITH FORMATION • Throughout the year, St. Anne’s Society supports the parish’s Youth Faith Formation team by volunteering, especially within the Pre-school and Kinder Faith Formation (PKFF) program. This beloved ministry runs from September through April and is offered during the 9:30 AM Sunday Mass. During PKFF, children ages 3 through Kindergarten are invited to “Come to Know God” through Bible stories, crafts, and songs—while giving parents the opportunity to fully participate in Mass, knowing their little ones are joyfully growing in faith.
Each June, St. Anne’s Society proudly leads Vacation Bible School, helping to nurture the faith of young Catholic children through a joyful week of learning, prayer, and fun.
