Community Outreach Ministry
Christ the King Community Outreach Ministry (CTKCOM) brings Christ the King parishioners together with organizations in our community to provide services to those in need. Organizations we currently serve include:
- Angel Tree Beginning the first weekend of December after all the masses, there will be a Christmas tree with names of children (furnished by the Brady Center) and newborn babies (furnished by the White Rose Center). Our high school youth will have their own Angel Tree with the names of teenagers (furnished by the Brady Center). Volunteers adopt an angel from the Angel Tree, shop, and deliver their gift back to Christ the King Parish Center the following week. There are also Senior Citizen Angels (the Brady Center) for those who prefer to make a monetary donation. Contact Mary Ann Collins or Michelle Collins at mamcollins@me.com.
To volunteer, please fill out the Christ the King Outreach Ministry Form or for more information, contact Kim Locus, or call (214)349-6959.
